日本では、ドイツやフランスのニュース報道は、客観的、公平で、おおむね日本のマスコミより質が高いと思われている。一面真実だが、日本と東アジア情勢についての報道は、無知と悪意に満ち溢れ、普通の日本人が読めば、驚き呆れ失笑し、怒りを禁じえない記事が横溢している。反面、中国に対する報道は、気持ち悪いほど好意的で、報道機関としての自恃やバランスを完全に失している。端的な例では、ドイツ人は「尖閣は中国の領土、悪いのは日本」と信じ込んで疑っていない。安倍政権やその経済政策についても、驚くような悪意に満ちている。原発問題など、どう報じられているか、想像できようというものだ。原因の一つに、中国による官民に渡る政治プロパガンダが、完全に行き届いており、ドイツのマスコミは中国のトンデモ情報を、そっくり鵜呑みにしていることがあげられる。それに対して日本からの情報発信は、ほとんど見られない。さらにドイツ人には歴史認識をめぐって、日本を何が何でも「ドイツと並ぶ戦犯国」に引きとどめておくという決意があるやに見える。経済でも日本の復活はドイツに脅威で、なんとしても抑えたいというのが本音だ。日本人は、こうしたドイツの報道の実態を全く知らないが、まずはこの事実を認識して、対応を考えないといけない。
