Seine Anti-Kriegsschrift besitzt gerade heute brisante Aktualität: Mo Ti fordert eine absolute Moral - wie Mord an Einzelnen müsse auch Völkermord angemessen bestraft werden. Besonders durch Angriffskriege erntet der Angreifende am Ende mehr Verlust als Gewinn an Mensch und Material. Oft folgen Unruhen im eroberten Gebiet oder Zusammenschlüsse umliegender Staaten gegen den wachsenden Eroberer. Mo Ti bekräftigt seine Thesen durch historische Beispiele von »guten« und »schlechten« Führern, die er gegenüberstellt. Er vertritt dabei jedoch keinen puren Pazifismus: Legitim sind für ihn Bestrafungen Aufständischer sowie solidarische Widerstände kleinerer Staaten gegen Aggressoren. Der Grundton Mo Tis zielt dabei auf Vorbildlichkeit ab, mit der man andere sowohl auf politischer, wirtschaftlicher als auch zwischenmenschlicher Ebene für sich gewinnen soll.

- New : This is a new book, unused, unread copy in perfect condition.
- Very good: A book that looks new but has been read. Cover has no visible wear. No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, and no underlining or highlighting of text, and no writing in the margins, possible very minimal creasing.
- Good : The book has been read but is in good condition. It has very minimal damage to the cover, including scuff marks. The binding has minimal wear. The majority of pages are undamaged with minimal creasing or tearing. There are no missing pages. A book in fair condition, the text pages and illustrations will be complete.
